I would get heavy duty cookie cutters like a pumpkin or ghosts shape , and etc...spray some PAM on the cookie cutter and press down on the rice krispie treat then you'll have a halloween design:o) I was just talking about this to one of my co-worker... we were wondering how to make rice krispies treat into a halloween thing:o) Good Luck!

Bats. cats, pumkins, and ghosts would be best just make sure to have a butter knife with you because it can get really sticky and since they are two they should be a little smaller then average so you can take the cookie cutters look at them and if you can try making them without the use of the cookie cutters or just trim the edges. You can dye them orange better yet put orange and brown sprinkles with chocolate maybe on them.

Yes, die your treats orange, and cut out pumpkins. For extra cool points from the kids, melt some white chocolate and dip just the back side of the treat in the melted chocolate and stick a popsickle stick in the bottom so they can hold it without getting messy. Use mini chocolate chips for face on pumpkins...
I did this at easter with rabbit heads and got rave reviews from kids and adults....

Along with cookie cutters, you can use pans that you might have (eg: if you have some of those Wilton pans for Holidays, then you use those to mold the rice krispie mix).

if you have cookie cutters, that is the easiest way. if not, then VERY CAREFULLY, cut out these shapes with a knife:
ghosts, pumpkins, leaves, a witch profile with a hat, any thing else Halloween related you can maneuver.
i know you're the mother, not the child, but parents can hurt themselves too.
